Preaching the Gospel since 1985
My Story
Upon receiving Jesus Christ as my Savior and Lord in 1983, a passion was placed within my heart to be a difference maker and world changer. Immediately I began to pursue God and His plan for my life even though I had no idea what that would entail. I poured myself into serving passionately in the local church in the early stages of my walk with God as an armor bearer to leadership. The pull and the call of God upon my life began to lead me in particular directions. A passion for evangelism became a Divine motivation within my life. I had a special place in my heart for the lost and those backslidden in their faith. That fire was put there by God, and I had to know why. I discovered it only when I sought Him. The Lord also began to teach me about the necessity of revival, restoration and renewal and ways to attain that beyond the religious norm.
This call of God turned into national and international evangelistic travel of revivals, crusades, camp meetings, conferences, and youth camps. It was at one of these revival meetings where I met my wife Regina who has become a major part of this ministry as well. Together we began to pursue a new passion the Lord added to my heart: a passion to strengthen homes and marriages. As a result, my wife and I began holding marriage conferences together, and individually ministering in men’s and women’s conferences.
In 2000, we launched Way of Life, a local impact church with a passion to also make a global effect. As lead pastor of this church in Grenada, MS, I have been privileged to incorporate many of the aspects of my evangelistic ministry into the lives of the individuals here. This has brought to light a new passion in my heart that continues to grow. Having two sons, Logan and Noah, has helped me realize a new desire God has begun to birth in me. In this season of my ministry, I want to grow into a confidant for other ministers, and provide training and support for other pastors and church leaders to become mentoral influences in the lives of others. I am eagerly anticipating what God has planned for the future of my sons in the kingdom as they continue to grow and mature in the faith, as I also eagerly wish to see this growth in the lives of others. I also have a desire to provide nurturing and support for those with an evangelistic call upon their life. This area of ministry is vitally important, and we cannot afford to let that seed go un-watered. I really enjoy the privilege of mentoring.
All these ministries have not come and gone from my life, but remain passions within my heart. I continue to be amazed at the ways God touches and impacts my life, and I want to always be open to growing in Him. My dream is to make a mark for Jesus Christ that cannot be erased. I don’t believe God gives you individual giftings to hold within yourself. I believe we must leave them on the field while we are here. The vision you are reading of my heart will continue to expand because there are other things that I have yet to share with you. This is just a little bit of who I am and what I’m about.
